Dylan Curnow

PIANO

Dylan is an experienced keyboard player, teacher and arranger. With over 25 years of piano teaching experience Dylan’s teaching practice is informed by his tertiary studies in classical music performance in addition to extensive professional experience as a keyboard player in many different contemporary styles. Dylan is an experienced music arranger with a particular interest in a cappella arranging and has independently produced and recorded four albums featuring his arrangements. In addition to his busy teaching schedule, he was director of Isabella a cappella choir based at Southern Cross University for 10 years, touring six times to Japan with them.  From 2010 to 2017 Dylan played keyboards in Lisa Hunt’s band ‘Forever Soul’ in addition to work as a freelance producer and arranger.  Dylan loves playing and teaching the piano and has a particular interest in Bach, Debussy, New Orleans style R&B.

Polly Wedlock

PIANO

Polly began learning piano at the age of 4 with the Suzuki method.  She went on to obtain a Bachelor of Music from the University of NSW in 1999, majoring in classical piano performance and musicology.  This led to many public performances, masterclasses (including one with renowned Australian pianist Roger Woodward) and workshops to further her musical training and love of piano.  She holds a Performer's Certificate from Trinity College London, and 8th Grade AMEB in Classical Singing. She especially loves the piano works of Debussy and Scriabin and has a keen interest in teaching beginners – particularly young children.

Dave Sanders

DRUMS

David has been involved in virtually every aspect of the music industry and music education and has gained the reputation as one of the most versatile and in-demand drummers and drum teachers in Australia. Dave divides his time between national touring, recording and teaching drum set at Southern Cross University, The Jazz Music Institute in Brisbane and The University of Southern Queensland.  As a tertiary educator David has become recognised as one of Australia’s top drum set teachers and his students are some of the most in demand drummers in the Australian music industry.  Dave has been featured in Drumscene magazine, recognised for both his performance and educational pursuits.

Amie Stuart

VOCALS

Amie has lived and breathed music since she was born.  She has performed as a singer/musician from a young age and has a variety of experience including performing in various original bands and cover bands as a lead singer and as a backing vocalist, recording sessions, choral singing, collaborating with electronic producers, songwriting and arranging. 

Amie completed a Bachelor of Contemporary Music majoring Voice from Southern Cross University in 2009 and has over 10 years experience as a singing teacher. Amie also plays guitar and piano and has a strong understanding of music theory.  She is a passionate, versatile and spontaneous singer who enjoys singing a range of styles including R&B, Hip Hop, Pop, Soul, Funk, Blues, Jazz, Rock, Grunge, Country and Folk.  She loves teaching singing and aims to create a joyful experience that nurtures her students’ talents and self confidence.
